There are many different camera angles that are used in this short video that shows different parts of a female and some parts that many would call "unflattering" but they want to normalise looking different which is shown by using low angles etc.

Positives of different types of research: | Negatives of different types of research: |
· Questionnaires: Inexpensive, practical, fast results, scalability, comparability, easy analysis, validity & reliability, standardized, no pressure, respondent anonymity. · Quantitative: easy to measure, useful for statistics, shows clear graphs of audience behaviour. · Qualitative: in depth analysis to why the audience behaves in such a way. · Surveys: quick to design and send out to large samples, easy to measure. · Interviews: able to gain in depth responses, ensures the participants you are speaking to will be relevant to your research. · Focus Groups: able to generate extra data from the group interaction, allows a large sample size for qualitive data collection. · Observation: can compare the data to responses from participants to make a comparison, generates relevant and quantifiable data. | · Questionnaires: dishonest answers, skipped questions, interpretation issues, lack of nuance, analysis issues, hidden agenda, lack of personalization, uncosientious responses, accessibility issues, survey fatigue. · Qualitative: can not be measured as easily. · Surveys: not able to gain detail behind the responses, Doesn’t ensure responses from relevant participants. · Interviews: not as easy to measure and analyse, participants could be influenced by the interviewer or the interviewing environment. · Focus Groups: not as easy to measure and analyse, the researcher could have less control in a focus group setting compared to an interview. · Observation: the observations can not be generalised, if a group is aware they are being observed they may behave differently. |
1. January 2019,
- deadlines (complete in time)
- correct management timing (use time wisely)
- read through all of the information correctly/ carefully
- know what primary and secondary research consists of
- make sure you only chose one of five commission task (don't waste time by doing all)
- complete all criteria
2. If I was to take this specific exam paper, I would personally chose commission 4: Leaflet as feel as though out of all of them I would complete that task well. Another reason why I would chose this certain commission is because I have good use of persuasive language to promote a certain product/ service.
3. There are some set tasks which are required to have complete/ submitted before the exam.
- review the information
- conduct research activities
- make notes (written, three sides of A4 notes) or (typed, font size 10 minimum)
- independent research ( primary and secondary research), identifying research sources
4/5.
grade pass, kept it brief, not an in depth analysis/ description, does not go into detail, no sub headings/clear layout, not many examples
grade merit, more of a clear layout, more descriptive, but has not gone into enough detailer a distinction
grade distinction, fully descriptive, loads of detail, clear layout, headings, paragraphs space out correctly, easy to find what information is where, includes justifications, completes all activities in depth
6. some of the main differences between grade pass and distinction is that,
grade pass: not fully descriptive, brief, simple, not thought about the layout
grade distinction: fully descriptive, in depth, examples, clear layout, justifications, headings
